On Tuesday January 27 Social Media Club Louisville will present a unique opportunity for the non-profit community in around the Louisville area. Our “Social Media Boot Camp For Non-Profits” will give attendees a hands-on experience with the basics of social media including the tools and technologies needed to participate, best practices for getting organizations active in the social media space and address some of the unique benefits and challenges non-profits have in social media from fund-raising to increasing organizational awareness.
The good news is that there are a few spots left for this limited-seating event. The price for attending is $50 and speakers will include leaders in the social media space from the Louisville area whose experience includes individual, small- to medium-sized business and big-brand success with social web programming and strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to get roll-up-your-sleeves and learn from very knowledgeable social media experts and practitioners, including SME’s own David Finch. Other presenters include Michelle Jones, Nick Huhn and Brendan Jackson. (Regretfully, I will be presenting elsewhere. More on that Monday.)
I would also add that even though the topic is geared toward non-profits, it doesn’t mean the corporate sector folks won’t get something out of it. If you’re available and want to learn, sign up. We only have a few spots left and you will absolutely leave with valuable and actionable knowledge.
We hope to see you there.
