The awesomeness was flowing on Wednesday’s SME Digital Power Panel discussion, Social TV: The Battle of Three Screens. Our guest experts were Gabe Goodwin (@GabeTheWP), of ESPN; Ann Glenn (@urlgrl), of Sony Pictures; and Jamie Kennedy (@JamieCKennedy), of O2Media.  Special guest Stacey Shepatin (@bosmediacontent), co-author of Social TV: How Marketers Can Reach and Engage Audiences by Connecting Television to the Web, Social Media, and Mobile also joined us for the discussion and two lucky viewers went home with a copy of her book.

Our discussion focused primarily on how entertainment companies are embracing the new mediums of communication and reaching viewers who are juggling TV, computers and mobile devices.  We discussed the correlation between online buzz and TV ratings and how they are driving online engagement before, during and after shows are on-air.

As promised, here is the webinar recording for you to enjoy if you were unable to join us live or you just want to review the discussion.

Below you’ll also find our slides (not much to show there since it was a panel discussion, but there are some great tweet-able stats on Social TV) and just for taking the time to enjoy the content, The folks at Social Toaster (the sponsor of this webinar) put together a free e-book for you – . .

Thanks to our sponsor, Social Toaster (@socialtoaster), a fan advocacy platform that helps give your super fans super powers (in sharing, that is), for helping us bring the panel together and the web discussion to you.
